Sunan Ibn Majah: Book 6, Hadith 1
“ لِلْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ سِتَّةٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا لَقِيَهُ وَيُجِيبُهُ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيُشَمِّتُهُ إِذَا عَطَسَ وَيَعُودُهُ إِذَا مَرِضَ وَيَتْبَعُ جِنَازَتَهُ إِذَا مَاتَ وَيُحِبُّ لَهُ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ ” .

The above hadith is from the Sunan Ibn Majah collection of hadiths. Compiled by Ibn Majah in the 9th century, the Sunan is a respected collection that completes the list of the Kutub al-Sittah, the six major books of hadith in Sunni Islam.
