Sunan Ibn Majah: Book 36, Hadith 84
“ مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يُعْمَلُ فِيهِمْ بِالْمَعَاصِي هُمْ أَعَزُّ مِنْهُمْ وَأَمْنَعُ لاَ يُغَيِّرُونَ إِلاَّ عَمَّهُمُ اللَّهُ بِعِقَابٍ ” .

The above hadith is from the Sunan Ibn Majah collection of hadiths. Compiled by Ibn Majah in the 9th century, the Sunan is a respected collection that completes the list of the Kutub al-Sittah, the six major books of hadith in Sunni Islam.
