Sunan an-Nasa’i: Book 43, Hadith 52
“ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَتَبَ الإِحْسَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ فَإِذَا قَتَلْتُمْ فَأَحْسِنُوا الْقِتْلَةَ وَإِذَا ذَبَحْتُمْ فَأَحْسِنُوا الذَّبْحَ وَلْيُحِدَّ أَحَدُكُمْ شَفْرَتَهُ وَلْيُرِحْ ذَبِيحَتَهُ ” .

The above hadith is from the Sunan an-Nasa’i collection of hadiths. Sunan an-Nasa’i is one of the six major Hadith collections in Sunni Islam, compiled by the renowned Islamic scholar Ahmad ibn Shu’ayb al-Nasa’i in the 9th century.
