The Sunan an-Nasa’i is a critical compilation within Islamic scholarship, authored by the expert hadith critic Ahmad ibn Shu’ayb al-Nasa’i. This collection, finalized in the 9th century, earns its place among the six primary books of hadith that form the core of Sunni Islamic tradition. Containing in excess of 5,700 carefully selected narrations, the work focuses on capturing the complete spectrum of the Prophet’s Sunnah. Imam al-Nasa’i applied an incredibly strict methodology, filtering out any hadiths with weaknesses or potential fabrication.
