“ أَعْتِقِيهَا فَإِنَّ الْوَلاَءَ لِمَنْ أَعْطَى الْوَرِقَ ” . قَالَتْ فَأَعْتَقْتُهَا – قَالَتْ – فَدَعَاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَخَيَّرَهَا مِنْ زَوْجِهَا فَاخْتَارَتْ نَفْسَهَا وَكَانَ زَوْجُهَا حُرًّا .
