Sunan an-Nasa’i: Book 23, Hadith 155
“ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لأَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَحَدُكُمْ حَبْلَهُ فَيَحْتَطِبَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ رَجُلاً أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ فَيَسْأَلَهُ أَعْطَاهُ أَوْ مَنَعَهُ ” .

Sunan an-Nasa’i stands as one of the six canonical collections of hadith, known as the Kutub al-Sittah, which are foundational to Sunni Islamic jurisprudence and theology. This significant work was compiled by the esteemed 9th-century scholar Ahmad ibn Shu’ayb al-Nasa’i.
