Sunan an-Nasa’i: Book 14, Hadith 1
“ نَحْنُ الآخِرُونَ السَّابِقُونَ بَيْدَ أَنَّهُمْ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا وَأُوتِينَاهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ وَهَذَا الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي كَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ فَهَدَانَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ – يَعْنِي يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ – فَالنَّاسُ لَنَا فِيهِ تَبَعٌ الْيَهُودُ غَدًا وَالنَّصَارَى بَعْدَ غَدٍ ” .

The above hadith is from the Sunan an-Nasa’i collection of hadiths. Sunan an-Nasa’i is one of the six major Hadith collections in Sunni Islam, compiled by the renowned Islamic scholar Ahmad ibn Shu’ayb al-Nasa’i in the 9th century. It contains over 5,700 narrations, focusing on the sayings, actions, and approvals of the Prophet Muhammad.
