Sahih Muslim: Book 44, Hadith 205
أَنَسٍ، قَالَ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَيْنَا وَمَا هُوَ إِلاَّ أَنَا وَأُمِّي وَأُمُّ حَرَامٍ خَالَتِي
فَقَالَتْ أُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ خُوَيْدِمُكَ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لَهُ – قَالَ – فَدَعَا لِي بِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ وَكَانَ فِي
آخِرِ مَا دَعَا لِي بِهِ أَنْ قَالَ
“ اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيهِ ” .

The above hadith is from the Sahih Muslim collection of hadiths. Imam Muslim ibn al-Ḥajjāj is the scholar responsible for the esteemed compilation titled Sahih Muslim, which he finished around the year 875. This book is a critical component of the Kutub al-Sittah. These six collections are the most important hadith sources for Sunni Muslims and include the works of al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, al-Tirmidhi, al-Nasa’i, and ibn Majah. Sahih Muslim is particularly famous for its rigorous methodology and is frequently cited as the second most authentic collection.
