عَنْ زَكَرِيَّاءَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه
وسلم قَالَ لَهَا
“ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ ” . قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

The above hadith is from the Sahih Muslim collection of hadiths. Compiled by the respected scholar Muslim ibn al-Ḥajjāj in the 9th century, specifically around 875, Sahih Muslim is a cornerstone of Islamic literature.
