Sahih Muslim: Book 15, Hadith 553

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: None who shows endurance on the hardships of Medina,… (the rest of the hadith is the same).

وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏
“‏ لاَ يَصْبِرُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى لأْوَاءِ الْمَدِينَةِ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ بِمِثْلِهِ ‏.‏

The above hadith is from the Sahih Muslim collection of hadiths. Sahih Muslim is a collection of hadith and sunnah compiled by Islamic scholar Muslim ibn al-Ḥajjāj around the year 875. It is one of the most valued books in Sunni Islam. It is one of 6 of the Kutub al-Sittah.
