Sahih Muslim: Book 12, Hadith 192
“ يَخْرُجُ فِي هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ – وَلَمْ يَقُلْ مِنْهَا – قَوْمٌ تَحْقِرُونَ صَلاَتَكُمْ مَعَ صَلاَتِهِمْ فَيَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ . لاَ يُجَاوِزُ حُلُوقَهُمْ – أَوْ حَنَاجِرَهُمْ – يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ مُرُوقَ السَّهْمِ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ فَيَنْظُرُ الرَّامِي إِلَى سَهْمِهِ إِلَى نَصْلِهِ إِلَى رِصَافِهِ فَيَتَمَارَى فِي الْفُوقَةِ هَلْ عَلِقَ بِهَا مِنَ الدَّمِ شَىْءٌ ” .

Its creation is credited to the dedicated efforts of Muslim ibn al-Ḥajjāj, who finalized his work around the year 875. This text is universally accepted as one of the two most authentic books of hadith, sharing this distinguished status with Sahih al-Bukhari.
