Sahih al-Bukhari 2436 (Book 49, Hadith 20)
“ أَعْتِقِيهَا، فَإِنَّ الْوَلاَءَ لِمَنْ أَعْطَى الْوَرِقَ ”. فَأَعْتَقْتُهَا، فَدَعَاهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَخَيَّرَهَا مِنْ زَوْجِهَا فَقَالَتْ لَوْ أَعْطَانِي كَذَا وَكَذَا مَا ثَبَتُّ عِنْدَهُ. فَاخْتَارَتْ نَفْسَهَا.
