Riyad as-Salihin: Book 2, Hadith 50

Hudhaifah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited us from wearing brocade or silk and drinking out of gold or silver vessels and said, “These are meant for them (disbelievers) in this world and for you in the Hereafter.”.

وعن حذيفة رضى الله عنه قال‏:‏ إن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نهانا عن الحرير والديباج والشرب في آنية الذهب والفضة، وقال‏:‏ ‏
“‏هي لهم في الدنيا، وهى لكم في الآخرة‏”‏‏.((متفق عليه))

The above hadith is from the Riyad as-Salihin collection of hadiths. The hadith collection known as Riyad as-Salihin was meticulously assembled over more than four decades by Imam al-Nawawi.
