Riyad as-Salihin: Book 17, Hadith 203
Abu Umamah Iyas bin Tha’labah Al-Harithi (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “He who misappropriates the right of a Muslim by taking a false oath, Allah will condemn him to the fire of Hell and will forbid Jannah for him.” A person asked: “O Messenger of Allah, even if it is something insignificant?” He replied, “Yes, even if it is the twig of the Arak tree.”.
وعن أبي أُمامة إياس بن ثعلبة الحارثي رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ”من اقتطع حق امرئ مسلم بيمينه، فقد أوجب الله له النار. -وحرم عليه الجنة” فقال له رجل: وإن كان شيئًا يسيرًا يا رسول الله؟ قال: ”وإن كان قضيبًا من أراك” ((رواه مسلم)).
