Riyad as-Salihin: Book 17, Hadith 140
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, “When the lace of one of the shoes of any one of you is cut off, he should not walk with the other until he has got the lace repaired.”.
وعنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول:
“إذا انقطع شسع نعل أحدكم، فلا يمشِ في الأخرى حتى يصلحها” ((رواه مسلم)).
“إذا انقطع شسع نعل أحدكم، فلا يمشِ في الأخرى حتى يصلحها” ((رواه مسلم)).

Riyad as-Salihin, The Gardens of the Righteous is a collection of hadith compiled by Imam Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Nawawi in the 12th century.
