Riyad as-Salihin: Book 10, Hadith 6

‘Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: I said: “O Messenger of Allah! We consider Jihad as the best deed, should we not then go for Jihad?” The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The best Jihad for you women is Hajj Mabrur (i.e., one accepted by Allah).”.

وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت‏:‏ قلت يا رسول الله نرى الجهاد أفضل العمل، أفلا نجاهد‏؟‏ فقال‏:‏ ‏:‏ ‏
“‏لَكُنّ أفضل الجهاد حج مبرور‏”‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه البخاري‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
