Riyad as-Salihin: Book 0, Hadith 460

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Three (things) follow a dead person: Members of his family, his property and his deeds. Two of them return; and one remains with him. The people and his wealth return; his deeds remain with him”..

وعنه عن رسول الله ، صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ “يتبع الميت ثلاثة‏:‏ أهله وماله وعمله‏:‏ فيرجع اثنان ويبقى واحد‏:‏ يرجع أهله وماله ويبقى عمله‏”‏‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏ ‏‏‏.‏
