Muwatta Malik: Book 52, Hadith 5
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa that his father said about this ayat, “You have good news in the life of this world and the next world,” (Sura 10 ayat 64), that it was the good dream which the man who was salih saw or which was shown to him.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي هَذِهِ الآيَةِ {لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ} . قَالَ هِيَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ .
