Jami` at-Tirmidhi: Book 8, Hadith 67
“ إِنَّ لأَهْلِكَ عَلَيْكَ حَقًّا صُمْ رَمَضَانَ وَالَّذِي يَلِيهِ وَكُلَّ أَرْبِعَاءٍ وَخَمِيسٍ فَإِذًا أَنْتَ قَدْ صُمْتَ الدَّهْرَ وَأَفْطَرْتَ ” . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ مُسْلِمٍ الْقُرَشِيِّ حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَرَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ سَلْمَانَ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ .

Imam Abu Isa Muhammad ibn Isa al-Tirmidhi is the author behind the Jami at-Tirmidhi, a hadith compilation completed in the 9th century. It is universally acknowledged as one of the six most authentic and important books of hadith in Sunni Islam, a group collectively referred to as the Kutub al-Sittah. This group includes the seminal works of al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, al-Nasa’i, and ibn Majah. Al-Tirmidhi’s own Jami is a vast repository of knowledge, containing over 4,000 narrations organized into 46 books.
