Jami` at-Tirmidhi: Book 45, Hadith 35
“ خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ ” . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ .

The above hadith is from the Jami` at-Tirmidhi collection of hadiths. The Jami` at-Tirmidhi is one of the six major hadith collections, or Kutub al-Sittah, revered in Sunni Islamic tradition. Its compiler, Imam al-Tirmidhi, undertook this significant work during the 9th century. This places it alongside other foundational texts like Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawood, Sunan an-Nasa’i, and Sunan ibn Majah.
