Jami` at-Tirmidhi: Book 14, Hadith 15
This Hadith is Hasan Gharib, we do not know of it except from ‘Abbad bin Laith. More than one of the people of Hadith have reported this Hadith from him.
“ هَذَا مَا اشْتَرَى الْعَدَّاءُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ هَوْذَةَ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم اشْتَرَى مِنْهُ عَبْدًا أَوْ أَمَةً لاَ دَاءَ وَلاَ غَائِلَةَ وَلاَ خِبْثَةَ بَيْعَ الْمُسْلِمِ الْمُسْلِمَ ” . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ لَيْثٍ وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ .

The above hadith is from the Jami` at-Tirmidhi collection of hadiths. Jami` at-Tirmidhi, compiled by Imam Abu Isa Muhammad ibn Isa al-Tirmidhi, is a 9th-century hadith collection of paramount importance. It is definitively classified as one of the six canonical works, the Kutub al-Sittah, which are indispensable to Islamic studies.
